John Cousineau, Founder + President
John has spent 30+ years leading operations research teams, with a focus on helping companies get more value more quickly from their day-to-day business processes. He's known for creating informed business innovations from clever uses of information + technology.
Led the Strategic Information Group at BC Research in the early 1990's. Founded innovative information in 1996. Served on the Business Advisory Board of the Advanced Systems Institute from 2002 - 2004. John's our product visionary. He holds a graduate degree in Political Science from UBC.
Dean Taylor, Partner
Dean is the Founder and former CEO of Generation II Orthotics, Inc. Generation II, is a leading developer and manufacturer of Orthotic Knee Braces used for ligament damaged and unicompartmental osteoarthritic knees. Their principle operations were in Vancouver, Canada; Seattle, Washington; and Brussels, Belgium with licenced manufacturers in Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Korea and Taiwan.
His track record of building and commercializing products is impressive. He delivered a compound annual rate of return on original investment of 38% per annum over 23 years, never borrowing a dime in doing so.
Dean holds seven US patents on products developed and commercialized through Generation II, and has successfully litigated two patents infringement suits in the US. In September 2003, he sold the company, to Ossur, a global manufacturer of Prosthetic limbs and associated products. Dean is our lead business strategist.
Ken Warkentyne, Chief Product Engineer
Ken has spent over 20 years in software development, including 8 years in managing software product development teams. He's designed and led the development of online banking and content management solutions for clients such as VanCity Credit Union, Canadian Tire, and Coast Capital Credit Union.
Ken has his PhD in CompSci from Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne (EPFL)
and his MMath (CompSci) from Waterloo.
